The After School Program

Fitness classes, turf games, and a homework lounge, Monday through Friday from 2:30 to 5:30. Kids come home accomplished and finished with homework.

Any Petoskey School Bus will connect to the Field House bus.

  • Arrival & snack

    Kids check in, drop bags, and grab a snack in the lounge. Healthy and not-so-healthy snacks are available for purchase, or kids can bring a bagged lunch or snack.

  • Fitness class

    A coached, age-appropriate class. Once weekly.

  • Turf games, climbing, arcade

    Been a long day at school? Want to blow off some steam? Try jumping on a bounce house for 20 minutes.

  • Homework lounge

    Quiet time in the lounge with tables and staff close by to help. History? We've got you. Math? You may want to ask ChatGPT.

  • 5:30

    Pickup

    Homework done, energy spent, ready for dinner.

What's included

Three parts to the program

Fitness Classes

A coached, age-appropriate class once weekly — agility, strength, games with a purpose. The same standard we hold at HŌM Fitness, scaled for ages 5 to 14.

Athletic Entertainment

Then the building opens up: turf games, the climbing wall, inflatables, and the retro arcade. Staff run rotations so every kid gets time on everything and nobody sits out.

The lounge with seating and tables

Homework Lounge

The last stretch is quiet. Tables, good light, and staff nearby to keep kids on task. Most families tell us homework is finished before they get home.

$69 a month covers every weekday afternoon of the school year. No registration fee. Auto-renews monthly with a 2-month minimum.

After School Program

Monday–Friday, 2:30–5:30 PM. Runs the school year, aligned with the Petoskey school calendar.

  • Drop-off & pickup

    Any Petoskey School Bus will connect to the Field House bus. For pickup, parents should come in through the Field House main entrance.

  • What to bring

    Indoor shoes, a water bottle, and homework. TODO — confirm any additional items.

  • Snack policy

    Healthy and not-so-healthy snacks are available for purchase. Bagged lunches and snacks from home are welcome. TODO — confirm allergy handling.

  • Which schools

    TODO — list the schools served (Petoskey Public Schools and others).

  • Half days & snow days

    On school half days, the After School Program starts earlier. Snow-day availability depends on our ability to open. TODO — confirm coverage during school breaks.

  • Late pickup

    This is not daycare, so there is no formal late-pickup policy. Please call us if you are delayed.

*This is an instructional fitness and entertainment program, not child care. The Petoskey Field House is not a licensed child care or day care facility, and our staff do not provide supervision outside of scheduled program activities. Please pick up players promptly at 5:15 p.m.
